About Royal State Insurance (RSI)
For more than 45 years, RSI has offered a wide variety of
insurance and related plans for the benefit of its group and
individual clients. RSI was established in Hawaii in 1960
with the formation of its life and disability insurance
company, Royal State National. RSI has progressively
expanded its operations to include insurance companies,
insurance agency operations, mutual benefit societies, and
third party administration services.
RSI provides extensive insurance programs, benefit plans and
community service through the following corporate entities and
business allies, all doing business in the State of Hawaii.
RSI is one hundred percent locally owned, managed and
controlled. Royal State National (RSN), with a surplus
fund ratio significantly more than the industry average, is
financially strong and offers specifically designed group life,
disability and medical insurance products. The Royal
Insurance Agency (TRIA) is an insurance agency that offers
group and individual insurance products from numerous insurance
companies. TRIA also brokers commercial and specialty
insurance lines. As a third party administrator, TRIA
administers a wide group of insurance and supplemental benefit
plans.
Consumer Group Insurance Services (CGIS) is an insurance
agency in business since 1976. CGIS provides Hawaiis
financial institutions and their customers various insurance
and health care products with an emphasis on the senior market
and innovative products and services. DTRIC Insurance is
a subsidiary of RSI that specializes in personal automobile,
homeowners and renters insurance and workers compensation
insurance exclusively in the State of Hawaii.
